Lovers of jazz have something to look forward to in Dalwood, later this month.
Maggie Reeday with the Craig Milverton Trio will be the guests at the next Tucker Jazz Club.
Maggie Reeday is one of the country’s finest singers and has worked in television and radio with some of the greatest international musicians including Scott Hamilton, Mark Nightingale, Dave Green, Digby Fairweather.
Maggie’s style is unique, as she not only portrays some of the great Jazz standards but her smoky voice lends itself beautifully to the more soulful and blues songs... she has a wealth of knowledge of tunes and styles to accommodate all occasions and is highly regarded by her peers.
Maggie maintains, that the highlight of her career, was a royal command performance at the London Palladium, attended by HM the Queen Mother.
The Craig Milverton Trio is made up of Craig on piano, Jim Rintoul, on bass and Gary Evans on drums.
They will be appearing at the Tuckers Arms, Dalwood, on Saturday, April 21, with the music starting at 8pm and tickets are £10.
