Celebrating its 40th anniversary, there are two events lined up to mark the occasion.

WiTh Seaton Tramway celebrating

its 40th anniversary, there are two

events lined up to mark the occasion.

on Saturday, June 5, the Brotherhood

of Man will be performing on

top of a tram and, the following day,

the annual classic cars show will

take place.

At 5pm, on Saturday, BBC newsreader

Nick owen will launch the

birthday tram at Seaton, when

Brotherhood of Man will be performing

from the top deck. The tram

will then travel to Colyton.

once at Fair Field, the 'concert

spectacular,' in conjunction with

Colyton Christmas Fayries, begins

with glam rock band, Diamondogz,

followed by Brotherhood of Man and

culminating with Queen tribute

band, The Bohemians. Tickets for

the concert are: adults £12.50 and

children up to 16yrs £7.50, which can

be purchased at Seaton or Colyton

Tramway shops, Axminster Tourist

information, Wilkies, The Kingfisher

inn and The old Bakehouse Café

Deli, in Colyton.

on Sunday, June 6, the classic car

show will take place at the Fair

Field, which will adopt a spangles,

sequins and stars theme.

The Lyme Regis Town Band will be

performing and entrance, with free

programme, is £2 for an adult, 50

pence per child under 16 and gates
