Toe-tapping jazz to performed at The Gateway, Seaton by Martin Dale and the Philip Clouts Trio.

Martin Dale and the Philip Clouts Trio will be playing in Seaton at the weekend.

Martin Dale is one of the most popular saxophonists in the South West.

He was a member of the John Burch Octet, and is also a member of the London-based groups Sax Appeal and the Jack Bruce Blues Experience.

Deemed an outstanding sax player by Jazz UK magazine, he will be performing his favourite tunes from the jazz repertoire, backed by the Philip Clouts Trio.

Pianist Philip Clouts has released many CDs and toured extensively in the UK and Europe. Together with powerhouse bassist Jim Rintoul and the dynamic Ric Byer at the drums, Dale and Clouts will present an evening of toe-tapping jazz classics.

The gig takes place on Saturday, February 17, at The Gateway, Seaton, and doors open at 7.30pm with the performance starting at 8pm.
