THE Trustees of the new Reece Strawbridge Centre is inviting the community to a Open House Day on Saturday, March 6.

The centre is in the final stages of completion and it is a chance for visitors to see what it will look like when it opens.

Tea, coffee and food will be served and groups will be shown around the building, between 10am to 3pm.

Paul Arnott, chairman management committee, said: "After the open day, the building will become inaccessible for the last three week push as plastering, wiring and plumbing is finalised, as well as the external works.

"But March 6 gives everyone the opportunity to see for themselves this exciting new fresh start for all the young people of Colyton."

The new centre is built on two independent floors. The first floor houses the Caterpillar pre-school in one half, and the Colyton Scouts in the other.

The lower floor houses the youth club, with a large hall, extensive storage, a music room, activities room, and open plan meeting area with a kitchen, and youth worker office.

For further information, call Mr Arnott on (01297) 553997.
