AN AXMINSTER amateur theatre group is looking for performers for its annual Chistmas Old Time Music Hall.

The Alternative Company Theatre Unlimited is aiming to perform its children's potted pantomime, for which rehearsals start this month.

They will be taking place on Tuesdays, between 7.30pm and 9pm, at the Cloakham Lawn Summer Bowls Pavilion, with a nominal fee of £2.

Any adults who would also be interested in treading the boards would also be welcomed by the company.

The show includes a medley of old time songs, which include audience participation and festive fun.

The show raises money for Children's Hospice South West and goes on stage early in December.

Watch out for publicity nearer the time.

If any parent is interested in their youngsters taking part, or they would like to take up a role themselves, they can call the company's artistic director, Michael Steer, on (01297) 33471.
