Rehearsals for Axminster Drama Club’s pantomime production of Rapunzel are nearing their conclusion.

Members of Axminster Drama Club are looking forward to a brief Christmas break as they are well into rehearsals for their latest pantomime.

The club will be staging Rapunzel at Axminster Guildhall, from Thursday, January 18 to Saturday, January 20.

The show features many of the regular pantomime elements, with the hard-working but poverty stricken dame, played by Leigh Conley, a principal boy, played by Georgie Harwood, two brokers’ men, played by Kat Hobbs and Jess Richards, and in the lead role of Rapunzel is Katie Richards.

Golgatta, the evil witch, played by Vanessa Loader, will provide the audience with plenty of opportunities to boo and hiss.

The principals are ably supported by a young cast who will be stepping forward in a range of roles.

Tickets for the show are already available online at www.ticketsource.co.uk and will be available from Archway Bookshop, in Church Street, Axminster, after Christmas.
