LYME Town Band played for several remembrance events, starting with the British Legion Festival.

The remembrance event took part in the Woodmead Halls, where the band accompanied traditional hymns and played for the traditional Land of Hope and Glory.

On Remembrance Sunday itself, two band members provided the Last Post and Reveille at local churches. Band chairman Jan Long played at Chard, while Des Moore, 17 and a student at The Woodroffe School, contributed to the service at Uplyme church.

The band accompanied hymns at Lyme Regis Parish Church's service. Under musical director John Powell, the musicians finished off with the march Punchinello.
