The "Sheldon Singers and Friends" will be offering an attractive mixed programme of choruses and solos, accompanied by their guest and friend, the Dutch pianist Frederic Gest, at a fundraising concert.

Founded by Julie De'Ath Lancaster 20 years ago, the choir has an established reputation, not only for its joyous music-making, but also for its commitment to fund-raising in support of local charities.

On this occasion they will be raising money for Brianwave, which has shops in Honiton and Colyton.

With several successful European singing tours to its credit, it has a justifiable claim to an international reputation.

The concert will take place on Wednesday, July 23, at St Paul's Church, starting at 1pm. Tickets are on sale at the two shops.
