There are plenty of events taking place across East Devon - here are just a few.

The Friends of Honiton Library will be holding a strawberry-themed coffee morning on Friday, July 7, from 10am - noon.

On Wednesday, July 5, from 11am to noon, there will be a Colyton Discovery Stroll.

Designed to help participants enjoy wildlife on a gentle stroll beside the River Coly, the meeting point is at Chantry Bridge, King Street, Colyton.

It is free and no booking is necessary.

A Bats about Bats event is set to take place at Shute Woods on Friday July 14, from 8.30pm to late.

Participants can meet for talk at Shute Church, which will be followed by a bat detecting walk in Shute Woods with Fiona Mathews.

Take a torch. All ages welcome. Free. Booking not necessary.
