Shute Theatre and Arts Guild (STAG) are currently rehearsing A Doll's House, which will be performed at the end of October.

Written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen in 1879, its critical view of 19th century marriage norms created a sensation at the time and is often referred to as the first true feminist play.

Arguably his most famous and accessible play, directed by Vicky Pearce, it is a must see autumn STAG production.

Performances will take place at 7.30pm, from Wednesday, October 28 to Saturday, October 31 at St Michael's Church, Shute.

Tickets will be available from the usual venues including Hurford's Stores, in Kilmington, (01297) 33203 and Archway Bookshop in Axminster (01297) 33595.
