Tuesday night date for the next Tuckers Jazz Club

The next guests for the Tuckers Jazz Club will be the Brubeck Project.

Led by Neil Maya on saxophones, he will be joined by Matt Carter on piano, Kevin Sanders on bass and Gary Evans on drums.

A spokesman for Tuckers Jazz Club said: “This will be a welcome return of Matt Carter, who has been studying jazz at the Royal Academy of Music in London since September but still manages to get ‘home’ to Devon to delight us with his sensitive and stylish playing.

“The Quartet will play some of Neil’s marvellous compositions in the first set and then all our favourite Brubeck numbers in the second set, such as Take Five, It’s a Raggy Waltz, Unsquare Dance and many others.”

The gig is set to take place at the Tuckers Arms, Dalwood, at 8pm, on Tuesday, June 19 and tickets are available to book now by calling Tina on 01404 831280 or they can be bought on the door.
