The Hamsters return to the Marine Theatre,in Lyme Regis, for their first concert in two years, on Saturday, June 28, at 8pm.

Now in their twenty-first year together, and having performed 4,000 concerts, the Hamsters are established as one of the UK's premier blues-rock attractions.

Originally forming for their own amusement (and taking their name from the Sex Pistols, who once used it as a pseudonym to outwit hostile councils), the Hamsters enjoy the irony of being an aggressive band with a cuddly name. Although serious about what they do, they don't take themselves too seriously.

The Hamsters' Lyme Regis concert will feature a slightly different set, including Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top songs.
