BUDDING thespians have the chance to get a role in Seaton's next pantomime.

Beauty and the Beast will be staged at Seaton Town Hall from Wednesday, February 18, to Saturday, February 21, and the full rehearsals do not start until January.

However, to get the ball rolling, the first read through is set to take place on Wednesday, October 29, at 7pm, and the adult casting read through is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, at 7pm.

Both events take place at the Smugglers' Bar at the Hook and Parrot.

Director Mary Bowles has prepared a casting programme to lead up to the start of rehearsals.

Other key dates are Saturday, November 26, 11am - children's auditions, and 2pm junior chorus (aged 10 and over).

With such a short programme of rehearsals, taking place each Tuesday and Thursday, from January 6, it is essential all cast members commit themselves to attending all of them.
