Lyme Regis's Town Mill will be hosting two exhibitions at the end of the month.

The Lyme Regis Art Society’s Annual Exhibition is at the Malthouse Gallery from Saturday, May 27, and Liz Shewan’s annual solo exhibition at the Courtyard Gallery from Friday, May 26, with both finishing on Wednesday, June 7.

The art society has a membership that embraces all types of art aficionados, from amateur enthusiasts to semi-professional and professional artists.

Its annual exhibition at Whitsun attracts more than 100 works of art and offers members a chance to display and sell their work, while giving the public an opportunity to explore what can be achieved in a wide variety of subject matter, media and styles.

Over at the Courtyard Gallery is the engaging show called Divine Essence, which features the paintings, drawings, jewellery, sculpture and photography of one eclectic local artist, Liz Shewan.

These exhibitions are open daily from 10.30am till 4.30pm. Entrance is free.
