Tom and Barbara Brown's performance of traditional songs and stories with archive film, This Farming Life, has been quietly taking Devon villages by storm with well over twenty performances for Villages in Action to date.

Tom and Barbara use familiar, and not so familiar, traditional songs to illustrate archive film footage from the South West. Their rich voices harmonise wonderfully and are blended seamlessly with anecdotes and there is plenty of opportunity for people to join in, as they have done with gusto at every village so far. The next performance for Villages in Action will be at Axminster Woodbury Hall on Friday, April 4, at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £6.60 for adults and £4 for 14-16 years and are available from hall committee members or by telephoning (01297) 32767.
